Connecticut Trip 2009

We had a really enjoyable and relaxing trip to CT this year. It was great to see Grammy as well as everyone from California this year! We had perfect weather - mid 70's - which was a nice break from the SC heat! We hiked, rode the Essex train and steam boat, visited the Pequot Indian Museum and Foxwoods Casino swam in the river (since the ocean was WAY too cold) and just had lots of fun visiting with everyone! It was a great time and we can't wait to get back again soon! Here are a few pictures from the trip!

Harrison jumping into the river. This is the first year we have swam in the river at Grammy's house on purpose! You can see how high the water is - the dock was totally covered - up to our knees at the end!
