It seems like Emilee is growing so fast! With Harrison I couldn't wait to see him reach the next milestone and I would even help him "practice" (sitting up, crawling etc.). I am obviously excited when Emilee does something new, however I now realize how quickly they grow up and how short of a time they are babies and I don't want to rush it!
I am trying to just enjoy everyday and every stage with her and praying that it won't go by too quickly. I do think we have another little busy baby - I can just tell she is ready to get up and go with Harrison. She watches everything he does and thinks he is just the greatest thing!
She has discovered her toes and loves to grab them and watch her little feet kick, kick, kick!

She is still a very good baby, however, I do think she may sleep more like her daddy. Mike wakes up 3-4 times and night and that seems to be what she likes to do too. I thought at first I had another good sleeper like Harrison and me because she slept from 7:30 pm-7:30 am for about a month and a half. Then she started rolling over really well and I think she thought it was a game. She would roll over at 3:30-4 every morning and just squeal and laugh at herself. I thought for sure it was a phase she would grow out of, but as each night passes I feel more and more sure she is going to sleep like Mike...
...so I'll just let him get up with her :)

She still has blue eyes and her hair in the back is still dark, but I think its eventually going to fall out and it will be replaced by blonde with a little red - we will see!

She is sitting up really well with the support of her boppy and prefers this or her johnny jumper over anything else! She will sit in a bouncy seat for a minute or two and then fusses to get out. She will jump and jump and jump or sit in the boppy forever if we let her.
She is getting very good at grabbing toys and puts them all in her mouth if she can.
She drools like crazy but there no signs of teeth yet.
She is still nursing 5 times a day,but we are giving her rice or oatmeal baby cereal once a day. I think I might start giving her oatmeal with bananas soon for breakfast - but again I am in no hurry for that!
She smiles at everyone for a second or two and then turns her face away into my shoulder like she's shy. It's so cute!
We thought she had learned to growl but found out a few days later at the dr. that she just had a sore throat and I think growling made it feel better. She weighed 14 lbs at that dr. visit.
She squeals and babbles so happily in her bed when she wakes up (even at 3 am!) She loves to watch the leaves blowing out of the window in her room (she can see them from her bed).
She still sleeps on her tummy most of the time, but has been falling asleep on her back a lot lately since she rolls so much.
I am amazed at how well she can scoot around on her tummy too. She can turn 180 degrees and can scoot off the blanket we lay her on too.
I could go on and on about this sweet little girl because we just love her so much! I am so thankful for a healthy happy little girl and praise God for her everyday (even at 3 am!).
