A trip to the vet
I had to take the dogs to the vet today! Let me say that before I had Harrison this was a crazy trip and now you can only imagine what it was like with him. We did pretty well though, I think I was only twisted up between the two leashes and the stoller twice and I managed not to fall down or knock anything off the shelves. Harrison shrieked several times that scared the vet a little, but he settled down once the vet's assitant got him a doggie squeak toy to play with! Those are his favorites at our house too :). We went to the Express Vet office and there wasn't anyone else waiting so that helped too. As I got in the car and started home I felt very proud of myself for that excursion, but I am very glad it only has to happen once a year!

13 Things I love about Harrison
1. I love his determination ( I know this will also cause problems too when he wants to do things he can't or isn't supposed to do, but it is neat to see his little personality already beginning to develop) It is so cute to see him poke out his top lip when he is working so hard to get something done. Mom says he looks like a little bird :)
2. I love when he gives hugs and kisses!
3. I love when he smiles so big at me!
4. I love to watch him sleep!
5. I love to go get him after he wakes up. He has thrown all his pacies out of his crib and he just seems so pleased with himself!
6. I love to hear him laugh, especially when he can't catch his breath because he is laughing so hard!
7. I love to watch all his different expressions!
8. I love to see him eat. He loves to feed himself and he is quite a messy eater!
9. I love to throw his ball with him! He has quite an arm!
10. I love to watch him take off walking behind his walker or Mickey car. He just loves to walk and starts laughing and screaming when he can do it by himself.
11. I love to hear him scream when he is happy or excited. Although this is a bit of a problem when we are in stores. I never encourage him to do it and I always tell him quietly that he is being too loud, but he just loves to scream!
12. I love to watch him play with his daddy. He loves him so much and wants his daddy to watch him and be proud of all the things he can do.

Rain!!!
Yay! We have had 2 days of short rain storms and today we had a long, wonderful rain storm that is still drizzling now! I am so thankful for the rain because everything was so dry and our yard looked so terrible. I think the ants won't come back now too!
When the rain started this afternoon Mike and I took Harrison down to the garage to watch it. I put him down and walked out in it with him for just a second, and he LOVED it! I didn't want to get soaked before church; so Mike was in charge to continue help him walk around in the rain! (Don't worry mom, there was no thunder or lightening!) He had so much fun, and was soaked when I took him in. He screamed the whole way inside and while I was taking off his onesie . I let him crawl around naked in him room for a few minutes so he could dry off. When I walked over to get him there was a little puddle next him on the floor!!! I thought he had stopped doing that a long time ago! Maybe he was just mad about being brought inside. I think we are going to have a wild man on our hands!

Please pray...
I just wanted to ask everyone to say a prayer for our house to sell soon. Mike got home this evening right before Harrison went to bed and he went crazy when he saw him. Harrison went crawling like crazy to meet him at the stairs and then went crazy crawling through the house, chasing after the dogs as if to say "watch me dad!". Everywhere Mike went Harrison went crawling right after him. It was so cute and so sad at the same time. I am really praying that God will sell our house and help us find the right one in SC very soon. Harrison will be 1 next month and I just really don't want him to have to be away from his dad for any longer! If you think about us just please pray for that please! Thanks for all the prayers that are going up regularly too!

Ants
I hate ants! On Tuesday morning Harrison and I were playing with his ball and he threw it into the kitchen. He went crawling after it and when he stopped I noticed that there was a parade of ants through my kitchen from the window to the dog food bowl! I hate ants! I grabbed Harrison up, put him in the exersaucer (which he hated and so he began screaming) while I killed all the ants, sprayed ant killer around the window inside and out, swept up all the dead ants and then got down on my hands and knees and scrubbed the floor. I hate ants! I decided I would empty and wash the dog bowl every night from then on.
Wednesday was great, no ants UNTIL... I was getting in the bed at 10:45 walked over to Mike's side of the bed to cover up the dogs and I saw a napkin that Cooper had pulled out of the trash can. When I picked it up I discovered that there were millions of ants on the napkin. I ran to the kitchen, threw it in the sink and turned on all the water to kill the ants went and grabbed the vaccuum and vaccuumed the floor then I went and got the bug spray again and sprayed under the window where I guess they must be coming from. I was exhausted!
I hate ants! I am glad they are just the little black ones that don't bite, but WHERE ARE THEY COMING FROM!!!!!! Needless to say my kitchen is spotless right now and if ANYTHING gets on the floor or counters I am cleaning it up as quick as possible because those little boogers get the word out fast when they find something to eat.
Mike has promised me to put ant killing granules in the yard when he gets home this weekend. I can't wait!
