Emilee Jane - 1 month old!!!

Today is Emilee's 1 month birthday! We celebrated by going to the dr. and getting a great report! She is growing very well and is "a very alert baby" Dr. Jones told us several times. She also had to get her next Hep. B shot which is no fun at all. :(

Here are her 1 month stats:

Weight - 8 lbs. 15 oz. (41%)

Length - 22.5 in. (92%)

Head Cir. - 14.57 in. (50%)

Weight - 8 lbs.

Length - 21 in.

Some fun facts about Emilee:

1. She LOVES to watch mobiles! There is one on the swing that she has and she will stare at it for 10 min. without looking away. I have a video I will try to put on here for you to see (not all 10 min of it though!) I pulled Harrison's jungle mobile (which matches her room SO well) out of the attic and put it on her crib so she can watch it too.

2. She still has a good bit of her dark hair but it is definitely thinning on the top. It looks like blonde hair is coming in in its place so we will just have to wait and see what happens to the rest of it!

3. She is a pretty great sleeper - averaging 6-7 hrs. at night! Woo Hoo for me about that!

4. She is a very efficient nurser as well, which is nice since Harrison is still needing lots of attention!

5. She is still sleeping in our room at night, but loves to be in her bed to nap during the day. She is very easy to just lay down and leave and she falls asleep on her own. She naps on her tummy.

6. She likes to have a pacy for naps, but not really when she sleeps at night. She sleeps on her back at night.

7. Some nicknames Harrison has for her:

"Little fella" (as in "It's ok little fella, mommy's going to feed you.")

He also calls her "miss miss" I think he gets that from me calling her "little miss" sometimes. :)

And after today's dr. appt. we might also be calling her "string bean"!

8. She has the cutest smile and a little dimple on her left check. Sorry to not get more pictures of her smiling, but she really only smiles at people and rarely when I have the camera.

We are so thankful for our 2 happy healthy children and thank God for the miracles He has sent us every day!
